Lefosse and Brazilian firms in Getninjas’ IPO
Lefosse Advogados as brazilian special counsel to Getninjas S.A in connection with the primary and secondary public offering
Lefosse Advogados advised Getninjas S.A in connection with the primary and secondary public offering of common shares, including a primary and secondary public offering of more than 24,000 shares issued by the company, totaling R$482,039,780.00.
Available for Android, iOS and the web, GetNinjas is the largest service hiring app in Latin America. In 2017, it was elected by Forbes Brasil as one of the most promising companies in Brazil. In 2018, it was listed as one of the hottest startups in the market in the “100 startups to watch” ranking, the result of a partnership between PEGN and Época Negócios magazines and Corp.vc.
Currently, it has more than 200 types of services available. The company, which received R$47 million in funding from funds such as Monashees, Kaszek, and Tiger Group, is already present in more than 3 thousand cities in Brazil, registers more than 2 million service requests per year, and has more than 500 thousand registered professionals. GetNinjas was founded in 2011 by Eduardo L’Hotellier, who serves as CEO – ahead of operations.
The funds raised in the offering, which amount to R$ 550 million, will be used by the company for investments in marketing, human capital and cash strengthening.
