CBLM Advogados annouces new partner

CBLM Advogados, law firm specialized in Tax Law, announced the entry of its new partner Nereida Horta

The firm was founded on the second half of 2020 with the purpose of delivering customized tax solutions, which is further strengthened by the vast experience of Nereida Horta (pictured).

Nereida has over 30 years of experience in major companies such as PwC, Andersen Tax Brasil and Cargill, in addition to having served as a Counselor at the Administrative Council for Tax Appeals – CARF, whose nomination was made by FEBRABAN / ANBIMA / CNF, between 2010 and 2015. Such experience allows her unique vision to deliver objective and practical solutions to its customers.

Nereida’s work stands out in advising on global and local tax planning, as well as consulting and compliance, having worked within several sectors, such as agribusiness, food, finance, technology, internet, payment arrangements and start-ups.

Nereida has a degree in Law from USP and an MBA in Finance for Executives from IBMEC. She is also currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Law from IBDT and has taught as a graduate professor at FGV Law – Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
