Machado Meyer and Cascione act in the issuance of financial notes of Banco Toyota
Machado Meyer advised Banco Toyota do Brasil S.A. on the issuance of financial notes in the amount of R$600 million. Cascione Pulino Boulos Advogados represented the underwriter Banco Itaú
Banco Toyota do Brasil S.A. issued 6,000 unsecured, non-convertible, unsubordinated financial notes, series 2, distributed through a public offering exempt from registration, pursuant to CVM Resolution 8, in the total amount of BRL 600,000,000.
Banco Itaú BBA S.A. acted as the sole coordinator of the public offering.
The issue contributed to the diversification of Banco Toyota’s funding sources. In addition, the issue was one of the first to be distributed under the terms of CVM Resolution 8, which required the study of the impacts of the changes in the regulations, the definition of new formats for the offering documents, the review of operational procedures, and the alignment with the local exchange (B3 SA – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão).
