Banco BS2 (Formerly Banco Bonsucesso) has announced the acquisition of Well, an Israeli fintech company that offers credit to Brazilian companies.

The transaction consolidates the bank’s strategy, which has plans to become the largest in the country in anticipation of receivables for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the next two years.

The transaction was made through a share swap, with Weel’s shareholders holding a stake in BS2. The value was not disclosed. Bronstein, Zilberberg’s team was formed by the partners Pedro Chueiri (pictured left), André Neves (pictured right), and associate Rafael Lutti.
