EGFA and Marval advise Telecom Argentina and JP Morgan on $30m credit facility

EGFA Abogados and Marval O’Farrell Mairal have counselled Telecom Argentina and JP Morgan on an additional credit line from FinnVera

 EGFA Abogados advised Telecom on the acquisition of a new credit line, granted by Finland’s official export credit agency, Finnvera, while Marval O’Farrell Mairal assisted JP Morgan, which participated as the initial bank.

This transaction had a value of up to 30 million US dollars, and will be aimed at acquiring equipment to further enhance the technology and communications infrastructure in Argentina and to further improve the quality of fixed and mobile connectivity services. The loan will finance the company’s investment plan, with a focus on expanding and enhancing fixed and mobile networks, with 4G in all provincial capitals, large cities and more than 1,800 towns, and greater broadband coverage and capacity.

EGFA Abogados team was formed by partner Baruki González and associates Delfina Lynch and Pedro Torassa.
