Machado Meyer announced Thais Matallo Cordeiro as new partner

Machado Meyer Advogados has announced the arrival of a new partner, Thais Matallo Cordeiro, expert in strategic issues of consumer relations. With consulting and litigation practice in the area for almost 20 years, the new partner joins the firm to expand the legal support to clients and partners in highly complex consumer issues, related to all business segments.

Thais Matallo Cordeiro has a law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), a specialist in Corporate Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), a Master in Civil Procedural Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), and is a doctoral candidate in Diffuse and Collective Rights at the same University.

The lawyer is also Director of Consumer Relations at the Brazilian Institute for the Defense of Competition, Consumption and International Trade (IBRAC), where she has held the position since 2018.
