Dias Carneiro advises on the acquisition of 4 leading digital advertising and marketing firms
Dias Carneiro Advogados has advised on the purchases are part of Fifth Partners’ strategy to launch DigitalReef, a full-suite advertising technology platform and mobile marketing company
Dias Carneiro Advogados acted as counsel to Imagination Unwired Serviços Digitais Ltda., a Brazilian subsidiary pertaining to Digital Reef’s group, on the acquisition of 100% of MobTarget. The Brazilian startup delivers unique mobile operator advertising solutions to brands and agencies, and it was previously owned by Arthur Alves Pereira, Bruno Siqueira de Carvalho, Rafael de Godoi Freire da Silva and Vista Tecnologia e Participações Ltda.
The law firm has also helped Digital Reef, Inc. (FifthPartners) acquire Flowsense, a specialized app engagement platform that helps large companies increase activation, retention and revenue in their apps. FifthPartners has relied on Dias Carneiro as well to handle the local aspects of IMOX’s and Lemmonet’s subsidiaries acquisition in Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay.
IMOX offers carriers, retailers and handset manufacturers a deeply integrated platform for devices providing value added services, business intelligence and communication tools. The company headquarter is in Miami (FL), with units in Nicaragua and Panama.
As for Lemmonet, it helps advertisers acquire and engage users at scale through its multichannel proprietary technologies. The startup is based in Argentina, with offices in Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay.
The merger of the four firms, in addition to Imagination Unwired, formed DigitalReef, global technology company launched last month.
