Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has advised The Rohatyn Group on the direct and indirect sale of cybersecurity solutions and services provider NeoSecure S.A., acquired by Latin American asset manager Patria Investimentos.
This transaction was closed on 30 June, with Banco de Crédito e Inversiones acting as escrow agent. Vella Pugliese Buosi e Guidoni Advogados (Brazil) and Parraguez & Marin (Chile) advised the buyer.
Neosecure, one of the few pure-play independent providers in Latin America, offers a comprehensive solutions portfolio that includes: advanced IT security consulting services to diagnose customers’ current state of cybersecurity risk, IT security technology, product sales and implementation services to incorporate technical cybersecurity controls, and managed security services to operate customers’ IT security protection infrastructures and manage their cybersecurity protection strategies. It operates in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Brazil.
Patria Investimentos is an investment firm, based in the Cayman Islands, dedicated to helping its portfolios build new businesses in a variety of sectors.
The Rohatyn Group was advised by its in-house team comprising legal & compliance director Guillermo Perrone and vice-president legal & compliance Federico Torassa.
