Lefosse and Machado Meyer advises on the deal between Brookfield and Aldo Solar

Lefosse Advogados advised Brookfield Asset Management on the acquisition of Aldo Solar, which was represented by Machado Meyer Advogados

Brookfield Asset Management has acquired Aldo Solar, the largest distributor of solar panels in Brazil. The transaction was carried out by Brookfield, one of the largest and most active companies in the sector. The amount was not disclosed.

Aldo Componentes Eletrônicos is the largest distributor of residential solar power generators in Brazil. The company also distributes other electronic and computer-related components.

Lefosse Advogados had lead partners Gonçalo Capela Godinho (pictured top left), Pedro Dante (pictured top centre) and Felipe Gibson (pictured top right) and partners Breno Sarpi, Nuno Faria, associate Natália Alves Graton assisting Brookfield.

Machado Meyer represented Aldo Solar (advised Aldo Pereira Teixeira, founder, and his family members) with a team formed by partners Elie Jaques Sherique (pictured bottom left), Paulo Markossian Nunes (pictured bottom right) and attorney Mariana Miranda Perecin.
