Machado Meyer assisted a consortium led by CNIC Corp. to sign an agreement with China Three Gorges Corp

Machado Meyer assisted a consortium led by CNIC Corporation Limited in entering into an agreement with China Three Gorges Corp. for a 25% stake in its portfolio of overseas assets held by a subsidiary (CTG International (Limited)). Closing of the transaction is subject to compliance with certain conditions precedent.

Machado Meyer acted as local counsel to the consortium CNIC Corporation Limited, China-Latin America Industrial Cooperation Investment Fund and had partners Guilherme Malouf (pictured left), Ana Karina Souza (pictured centre), Maria Eugenia Novis (Pictured right) with lawyers Paulo Henrique Carvalho Pinto, Heloisa Zerbinatti Sato.
