Stocche Forbes Advogados advised Raízen in the cross-border purchase of 50% equity interest in Barcos & Rodados, one of the largest fuel distributors in Paraguay for USD 130 million.

Stocche Forbes relied on the team formed by partner Daniel Abraham Loria (pictured) and associate Gabriel Chang.

The transaction was led by Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno as lead international counsel for the selling party.

Stocche Forbes advised Raízen on the tax aspects of the structuring. The firm contacted the law firm BKM | Berkemeyer in Paraguay to provide advice on local issues.

The selling side was advised by partner Pablo Livieres Guggiari of the law firm Livieres Guggiari (Asuncion).
