Mattos Filho counsels Insight on financing round for Nuvemshop

Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados advised Insight Partners as co-lead investor on Nuvemshop’s Series E funding round

Insight Partners was co-lead investor in the Series E financing round of Nuvemshop, a platform for creating and hosting online stores.

The $500 million financing round was also co-lead by Tiger Global Management and included investments from Alkeon Capital Management, Owl Rock Capital, Sunley House Capital Ltd and VMG Partners.

Mattos Filho’s role in the transaction included assisting and advising Insight Partners with all aspects of Brazilian law, including the legal due diligence process for Nuvemshop and review of relevant contracts and ancillary documents.
