Larrain y Asociados counsels Banco Internacional on contract amendments

Larrain y Asociados has assisted Banco Internacional, as agent for syndicated creditors, in the modification of financing agreements with Inversiones Sams SpA

 Chilean law firm, Larrain y Asociados, has advised Banco Internacional, in its capacity as Agent Bank of two syndicated creditors, comprising: /i/ Banco Internacional, Banco BTG Pactual Chile, Compañía de Seguros Confuturo S.A., Penta Vida Compañía de Seguros De Vida S.A., Metlife Chile Seguros De Vida S.A., Principal Compañía de Seguros De Vida Chile S.A. and BTG Pactual Deuda Privada Fondo de Inversión; and /ii/ Banco Internacional, Penta Vida Compañía de Seguros De Vida S.A. and Metlife Chile Seguros de Vida S.A., in the amendment and restructuring of two financing agreements entered into between each syndicate of creditors and Inversiones Sams SpA.

This transaction was closed on 9 August and had an approximate principal value of $114,645,994 US dollars (3,002,500 UF) and $38,183,512 US dollars (1,000,000 UF), which included, in addition, amendments to the associated guarantees.
