With the entry of the new partner Caio Taniguchi (pictured), TozziniFreire strengthens its Pension practice group, which already features partner André Fittipaldi, along with other professionals. The firm’s goal is to provide, in an even more structured and specialized manner, strategic solutions tailored to the market’s needs.

Caio Taniguchi holds postgraduate degrees in Tax Law from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo), in Pension Law from EPD (Escola Paulista de Direito), and in Human Resources Management from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. He has over 20 years’ experience in matters related to pension, tax, and strategic compensation. Additionally, throughout the past three years, he was recognized as one of the most admired lawyers in Brazil for Pension practice by Análise Advocacia.

Caio will lead two fronts: advisory/litigation pension assistance and credit recovery projects. The first one stands out by delivering a multidisciplinary performance, which comprises legal, human resources, and corporate governance advice. Regarding the projects, the practice group will operate in all stages of the process: legal evaluation, economic assessment, tax credit utilization, including administrative and judicial defenses.
