Estudio Echecopar counsels Nord Anglia Education on the acquisition of Colegio Peruano Británico

Estudio Echecopar has assisted Nord Anglia Education in the purchase of Cultural Educacional Windsor del Perú, owner of the Colegio Peruano Británico

 Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International, has counselled Nord Anglia Education in the acquisition of 100% of Cultural Educacional Windsor del Perú SAC, owner and operator of Colegio Peruano Británico, a private school in the Peruvian market, with more than 1,000 students and 100 teachers.

This is the first acquisition in Peru by Nord Anglia Education. The complexity of the transaction was determined by the current impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Peruvian education system and the uncertainty about the future regulations to be implemented for a possible reopening of the schools under a hybrid learning system, the risks of which were to be allocated between the parties.

Nord Anglia Education Limited is a private equity fund specialising in the education business that operates more than 75 schools in over 30 countries around the world.
