Larrain y Asociados counsels Banco Consorcio on financing for Comfrut
Larrain y Asociados has advised Banco Consorcio on a $13m financing in favour of Comfrut
Chilean law firm Larrain y Asociados has counselled Banco Consorcio in the structuring, negotiation, documentation and closing of a financing granted to Comfrut S.A., a company specialised in the retail packaging of frozen fruit for both private and commercial brands.
The funds will be used to finance the acquisition of a plant for the production and processing of frozen fruit located in the commune of Curicó, and are secured by a set of assets on which mortgages and non-possessory pledges in favour of Banco Consorcio were constituted.
The transaction was closed on 27 August 2021, for an approximate amount of $13,323,834 US dollars. Vicuña Abogados acted as counsel to Comfrut.
