Souza, Mello e Torres Advogados advised GDM Genética do Brasil S.A. in the public offering of agribusiness credit certificates (CRA) object of the 1st and 2nd series of the 51st issue of Virgo Companhia de Securitização, agribusiness credits issued by GDM Genética do Brasil S.A. in favor of Virgo Companhia de Securitização, according to CVM Resolution 400.

The total amount was R$210 million.

GDM Genética do Brasil S.A. is the Brazilian operating company of the GDM Group, which has been operating in seed breeding for over 40 years. The group is present in the main agricultural producing countries in the world. 

Souza, Mello e Torres Advogados relied on partner Vitor Arantes (pictured) and associates Vitor Abreu, Luisa Pereira and Fernanda Tatto.

Tauil & Chequer Advogados associated to Mayer Brown LLP also participated at this deal as advisor to Itaú BBA and Bradesco BBI and relied on partner Bruno Cerqueira, associate Flavia Biagiotti, legal trainee Artur Nascimento and law clerk Camila Torelli.
