Trench Rossi advises Grupo Bimbo expansion in Brazil

Trench Rossi Watanabe advised Grupo Bimbo that has concluded the acquisition of 100% of Aryzta operations

Trench Rossi Watanabe has represented Grupo Bimbo, one of the main food companies in Mexico with operations in Brazil, in the total acquisition of the Brazilian operation of the Swiss food company Aryzta, focused on the food service segment. With the acquisition, Grupo Bimbo, known for its products aimed at the final consumer, strengthens its operations in the country and diversifies its portfolio.

Trench Rossi Watanabe’s partner and Competition Law specialist Paulo Casagrande (pictured left) and partner and Mergers and Acquisitions specialist Mauricio Pacheco (pictured right) participated in the transaction. The transaction also counted on the leadership of partners Simone Musa and Adriana Stamato in the tax aspects, and had the support of partner Priscila Kirchhoff and associates Marie Grinberg, Marco Ferreira, Bruno Silva, Luiz Camargo, and Rafaella Medina.
