Chávez Vargas Minutti appoints new partner

Mexican law firm Chávez Vargas Minutti Abogados has named Alejandro Carreño as partner

 Mexican law firm Chávez Vargas Minutti Abogados, S.C. has appointed Alejandro Carreño as partner, effective 1 November, to strengthen the Banking and Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions and Infrastructure practice areas.

José Antonio Chávez, managing partner of the firm, commented on the appointment: “We are excited and thrilled that years of effort and work of Alejandro are consolidated in our Firm. It is an honor for the partners to count on him; he will be a role model for other lawyers in the Firm.”

Also managing partner Brian Minutti, stated: “We are proud to receive Alejandro Carreño as our partner, whom has been an example to follow and leader in our Firm. Carreño has made a career in Chavez Vargas Minutti, and our principles of professionalism, quality and ethics are within his DNA.”

Alejandro holds a degree in Law and Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), an MBA from EGADE Business School and specialisations in Private Equity from the Universidad Anáhuac Norte and in Real Estate Law from ITAM. Prior to joining Chávez Vargas Minutti, he was an associate at Olivares y Cía., S.C., as well as a consultant at Galaz, Yamazaki, Ruiz Urquiza, S.C. (Deloitte Mexico).
