Ferrere represents Jonas Software in acquisition of 2 companies in Uruguay

Ferrere has advised Jonas Software UK on the acquisition of Uruguayan companies GeneXus Consulting and K2B

 Ferrere has represented Jonas Software UK, a leading global company, in the acquisition of Uruguayan IT companies GeneXus Consulting and K2B, leaders and pioneers in software development in Uruguay.

Ferrere performed the full due diligence of both companies, while assisting in the structuring and negotiation of the transaction and the share purchase agreements.

The lead partner in the transaction, Martín Cerruti, commented that “in recent years, Uruguay has been in the global spotlight because of the IT talent in the country, where software exports per capita are the largest in Latin America, and the third largest in volume of Uruguay’s total exports. This acquisition, by a major global company like Jonas Software, is an excellent example of one of several ongoing investments made by IT companies in Uruguay’s talented software industry”.

GeneXus Consulting offers services to help organisations achieve their business objectives through the appropriate use and implementation of GeneXus technology.

K2B is an ERP solution for Government and Private Sector, which enables every organisation and industry to automate the administrative, accounting, budgetary and financial management of the organisation from a holistic view. K2B is comprised of ERP / government resource planning systems that run large government departments and private sector companies.
