Tauil & Chequer in association with Mayer Brown added Joyce Jacobsen as corporate partner
Tauil & Chequer in association with Mayer Brown announced that Joyce Jacobsen (pictured) has joined the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice as a partner. She focuses her practice in the oil and gas industry, and joins from Vieira Rezende Advogados.
Joyce has extensive experience advising Brazilian and foreign oil companies, shipowners and banks on new construction, offshore unit financing and purchase, offshore bidding, as well as disputes involving shipbuilding contracts and offshore unit seizures in Brazil.
She also has extensive experience in and a deep understanding of Norwegian offshore practices, having previously practiced at law firm based in Norway.
