Pinheiro Guimarães Advogados advised Viveo (CM Hospitalar S.A.) on the acquisition of Apijã Produtos Hospitalares Laboratoriais Odontológicos e Assistência Técnica Ltda., Laborsys Produtos Diagnósticos e Hospitalares Ltda. and Macromed Produtos Hospitalares Ltda.

Viveo (CM Hospitalar S.A.) is a company listed in the São Paulo stock exchange (B3), and leader in the manufacture and distribution of materials and medicines in its segment, with products and solutions for all regions of Brazil.

Apijã, Laborsys and Macromed operate as exclusive distributors of Roche reagents for the laboratory channel in their regions and in the provision of assistance and maintenance services. Viveo stated that the transactions reinforce the company’s growth strategy in the laboratory channel, with Viveo being the only company with a combined offer of disposables for pre‐analytics and inputs for the analytical market. The regions in which the target operate are complementary to Viveo’s existing operations, which will provide operational and administrative synergies for the laboratory channel.
