Machado Meyer and Monteiro Rusu act in the issue of financial notes for Banco GM
Machado Meyer Advogados advised Banco GM S.A., Monteiro, Rusu, Cameirão e Bercht Advogados advised Banco Itaú BBA S.A., as lead bookrunner, Banco Safra S.A. and UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A
The transaction is the 6th issue of Financial Notes of Banco GM S.A. which had Banco Itaú BBA S.A., as lead bookrunner, Banco Safra S.A. and UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A.
The operation was structured in accordance with CVM Resolution 8, in the total amount of R$700 million.
The net funds raised through the issue will be used by Banco GM to increase its cash flow and carry out its activities as a multiple bank.
Monteiro, Rusu, Cameirão e Bercht Advogados acted as bookrunners’ counsel with partner Roberto Pekelman Rusu (pictured left), assisted by partner Marina Lipener Fenerich and associate Maria Fernanda Giorgi.
Machado Meyer Advogados acted as legal advisor to Banco GM with partner Eduardo Castro (pictured right) and lawyers Karina Tiaki Momose and Raquel Aguiar Dias Barcelos Coutinho.
