Candido Martins Advogados advised Hemos laboratory on sale to Sabin Group
The Cândido Martins Advogados assisted the Hemos clinical analysis laboratory and its shareholders in the sale of 90% of its shares to the Sabin Group, which is now expanding its operations in Santa Catarina, in the region of Blumenau, Pomerode, Gaspar, Indaial and Timbó.
The purchase, for R$35 million, of the 13 Hemos units will allow the Sabin Group to perform 100,000 exams per month.
The synergy in the delivery of services was determinant for the choice. The city of Blumenau will benefit from the social responsibility and investment programs of the Sabin Institute, which will keep Rosele Maria Branco, hematologist as a partner and regional manager.
It is worth mentioning that in the last 9 years the Sabin Group’s acquisitions have already totaled R$ 420 million.
