Ferrere represents HIG Capital in Grupo Ransa acquisition

Ferrere Bolivia has advised HIG Capital on the acquisition of Ransa Operador Logístico

Ferrere, through its team in Bolivia, has represented HIG Capital in the acquisition of Grupo Ransa, which involved taking a majority stake in Ransa Operador Logístico Bolivia S.A.

The advice included the due diligence process prior to closing the deal, review of relevant transactional documents, as well as monitoring and confirmation of compliance with the Conditions Precedent for the transaction.

For HIG Capital, the objective of the deal, finalised on 29 October, is to consolidate its position in the Latin American market through the acquisition of the various brands owned by Grupo Ransa in important regional markets, mainly related to logistics.

In addition to Bolivia, Grupo Ransa is present in Peru, Colombia and Ecuador, as well as in several Central American countries, where it employs approximately 7,000 people.

HIG Capital invests in acquisitions, recapitalisations and corporate spin-offs. Founded in 1993, it has a portfolio of more than 100 companies and $45 billion in equity under management.
