PPU advises Silver Lake on acquisition of Grupo BC

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has assisted Silver Lake in the acquisition of 100% of Grupo BC

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has advised Silver Lake on the acquisition of 100% of the leading provider of mortgage, legal and digital management services for financial companies, Grupo BC.

In this transaction, closed and signed in October, the law firms Uría Menéndez and Sánchez Devanny have also participated.

Silver Lake is a technology investment company with more than $88 billion in combined assets under management and committed capital, with a team of professionals based in North America, Europe and Asia.

Uría Menéndez’s team included partners Pedro Ravina and Manuel Echenique, and associates Santiago Urrecha and Luis Ignacio Diaz.

Sánchez Devanny’s team consisted of lawyers Diego Gómez-Haro Katznelson and José Miguel Ortiz Otero.
