Demarest Advogados and TozziniFreire acted in the acquisition, by Givaudan, of 4,585 preferred shares held by Criatec in the capital stock of Nanovetores, representing 47% of the capital stock of Nanovetores.
Nanovetores is an innovative company, founded by Ricardo Henrique Ramos and Betina Giehl Zanetti Ramos, which develops nano and micro encapsulated active ingredients.
The transaction reinforces Givaudan’s presence in Brazil, a manufacturer of aromas, fragrances and active cosmetic ingredients, represents a synergy of nanotechnology solutions for the cosmetic industry, and evidences the business success of an innovative company such as Nanovetores. The deal is subject to the antitrust approval from the Brazilian Competition Authority (CADE).
