PPU represents Procaps in $115m note deal
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Colombia has assisted Procaps S.A. in a USD 115 million note guarantee and purchase agreement
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has represented Procaps S.A. in connection with the issuance and sale of an aggregate principal amount of $115,000,000 US dollars of senior secured notes, pursuant to a bond purchase and security agreement. This is Procaps’ first private issuance in a market where private issuances are not common.
The transaction closed on 12 November, involving the jurisdictions of Colombia, the United States, Malta, Luxembourg, El Salvador and Brazil. The firms participating as advisors in the transaction were the following:

Procaps is a Colombian manufacturer and marketer of specialised pharmaceutical forms, located in the city of Barranquilla.
