Carey assists Genesis Ventures and Weboost in $3.2m funding round
Carey has represented Genesis Ventures and Weboost in a $3.2 million financing to startup CoTalker
Carey has assisted Genesis Ventures and WeBoost in a $3.2 million US dollar Series Seed equity financing round in CoTalker, a Chilean start-up, which developed a “low-code” platform that digitises and automates workflows for assets and workers.
The advisory included the coordination of applications from the various investors in the Series Seed equity round and the harmonisation of the Chilean standard with that of the US. New investors in this round include Genesis Ventures, WeBoost and Amarena, three venture capital firms of Chilean origin.
This transaction was closed on 30 November, with FS Abogados acting as local counsel to CoTalker, while Dentons acted as CoTalker’s US counsel.
FS Abogados’ team included partner Rodrigo Bustamante.
Dentons US team was coordinated by counsel Adrian Stewart.
Carey’s team consisted of partner Francisco Guzmán (pictured left), together with associate Constanza Rivera (pictured right).
