PPU counsels Yarabamba on $25.5m financing

PPU Peru has advised Inversiones Yarabamba on a financing granted by Allianz Em Loans and Cordiant VII Agricultural Real Assets Deb

 Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Peru has counselled Inversiones Yarabamba S.A.C. (a subsidiary of Empresa Agroindustrial Cayaltí) as borrower, in a cross-border financing transaction, for an amount of up to $25.5mm US dollars, granted by Allianz Em Loans and Cordiant VIII Agricultural Real Assets Deb, with the intervention of EAT Uruguay S.A. as collateral agent.

This transaction was closed on 29 October, and involved the execution of a NY-based credit agreement and a complex collateral package, comprising, among others, a Peruvian asset trust that included all of the borrower’s productive assets.
