Machado Meyer Advogados and Cescon Barrieu Advogados acted in the Companhia de Locação das Américas 22nd issue of simple shares, non convertible into shares, with additional personal guarantee of Unidas S.A., in a single series, for public distribution with restricted distribution efforts, in the total amount of BRL 1 billion.

Companhia de Locação das Américas is one of the largest car rental companies in Brazil and is a leader in the rental of fleet vehicles for companies.

Machado Meyer was the legal advisor to Companhia de Locação das Américas and had the leadership of partner Gustavo Rugani do Couto e Silva }(pictured left) and partner Guilherme Azevedo Ferreira Alves. It also counted with the lawyers Paulo Estevao Henriques Carneiro De Miranda, Fernanda Marques Ribeiro.

Cescon Barrieu advised the underwriters UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A., Banco Itaú BBA S.A. and Banco Bradesco BBI S.A. and had the partners Frederico Viana Rodrigues (pictured right) and Alice Fulgêncio Brandão; associate Davi Souza Marques; and interns André Andrade Brandão and Karina Figueiredo Rodrigues.
