Pinheiro Neto and Lefosse act in CRA issue by Eco Securitizadora
Pinheiro Neto acted as counsel to Lar Cooperativa Agroindustrial (debtor); Lefosse Advogados acted as counsel to the Coordinators
The deal consisted in the public offering with restricted efforts of the 1st series and 2nd series of the 120th issue of Certificates of Agribusiness Receivables – CRA by Eco Securitizadora de Direitos Creditórios S.A.
The CRA are guaranteed by the agribusiness credit rights owed by Lar Cooperativa Agroindustrial (debtor) represented by CPRs issued by the debtor.
The total value of the issue was R$400million.
The funds obtained from the subscription and payment of the Agribusiness Receivables Certificates will be used by the issuer to pay the expenses of the issue and to pay the debtor’s purchase price, under the terms of each of the CPRs.
The funds obtained by the Borrower by virtue of the payment of the CPRs will be used entirely and exclusively to finance its activities in agribusiness as a cooperative. This is the first CRA issue involving the Debtor.
