M&A counsels on $400m credit facility to Volcán Compañía Minera

Miranda & Amado has advised the lenders and arrangers of the 400 million syndicated credit facility in favour of the mining company Volcán

 Miranda & Amado has counselled Banco Santander, S.A. and Citigroup Global Markets Inc., as arrangers; and Banco Santander, S.A., Citibank, N.A., acting through its international banking service, Citibank, N.A., Bank Of Nova Scotia, Banco Internacional Del Perú S.A.A., Banco Interamericano De Finanzas, Banco De Crédito E Inversiones, S.A., Banco Latinoamericano De Comercio Exterior, S.A., Bancaribe Curacao Bank N.V., Banco De Crédito Del Perú and Banco De Occidente Panamá, S.A., as lenders, in connection with a syndicated credit facility in the amount of 400,000,000.00 US Dollars, in favour of Volcán Compañía Minera S.A.A.

This transaction was closed on 29 December, with Linklaters acting as New York counsel to the lenders, M&A as their Peruvian counsel, Allen & Overy as New York counsel to the administrative agent, Shearman & Sterling as New York counsel to the borrower, and Payet as Peruvian counsel to the borrower.

Lorena Carrillo, Kevin Smith and Diego Gadea acted as in-house lawyers for Citibank.
