Schmidt Valois Advogados has announced Pedro Seraphim as a new partner
Schmidt, Valois, Miranda, Ferreira & Agel Advogados announced the admission of Pedro Seraphim (pictured) as a new partner. A graduate from the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP), Pedro has experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Transactions, development of Electric Power, Infrastructure and Project Finance projects, in addition to a unique experience in the complex operations of Defense and Aerospace Law.
With his arrival, the firm will open a new unit in the City of São Paulo, which already counts on the quality and experience of partners Alexei Macorin Vivan (Energy) and Victor Hugo Macedo do Nascimento (Tax).
With a career spanning more than 30 years, Pedro has significant experience in handling complex transactions, risk assessment, development of alternatives, and contract negotiation, with a creative, proactive, and collaborative style.
The new partner is the Director of the Energy Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), and for more than 10 years was the Director of the Brazilian Association of Independent Power Producers (APINE).
