Cuatrecasas counsels Hoya Corporation on the acquisition of VisionLab Colombia

Cuatrecasas has assisted the Japanese company Hoya Corporation in the purchase of the assets of VisionLab S.A.S. Colombia

 Cuatrecasas, through its Bogotá office, has counselled Hoya Corporation, through its subsidiary Hoya Lens Colombia S.A.S., on the acquisition of the assets of VisionLab S.A.S. Colombia.

With this transaction, the Japanese multinational company Hoya Corporation enters the Colombian market for the production, processing and distribution of ophthalmic lenses and machinery.

The purchase and continuation of business activity by Hoya Lens also implies the maintenance of the number of jobs that VisionLab had in operation in its daily activity throughout the region.
