H&K assists Bladex in a $5.4bn offering

Holland & Knight Mexico has assisted Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior (Bladex) in its issuance of $5.4 billion Mexican pesos (approximately $270 million USD) in debt securities in the form of bonds (certificados bursátiles).

The placement of the securities, as well as their public offering on the Mexican Stock Exchange, took place on 18 August.

The transaction was divided into two tranches: the first for an aggregate amount of MXN$1.2 billion (approximately US$60 million) with a three-and-a-half-year term, and the second, with a five-year term, for an aggregate amount of MXN$4.2 billion (approximately US$210 million).
