Santos Neto advises green CRA’s issuance of USJ
Santos Neto Advogados advised Usina São José (USJ) in the public offering of Agribusiness Receivables Certificates (CRA) of the 118th issue of Virgo Companhia de Securitização, backed by Agribusiness Credit Rights due by USJ.
The distribution of CRAs was carried out in accordance with CVM Instruction 476, under coordination of Banco BOCOM BBM and Itaú BBA. CRAs were characterized as green bonds as a result of the USJ’s commitment to apply funds raised in production of biofuel and energy cogeneration through biomass.
The total amount of the issue was R$ 80 million.
