Lefosse advises on IBI Brazil issuance

Lefosse has acted as advisor for underwriters Alfa Corretora de Câmbio e Valores Mobiliários, Banco Santander (Brasil) and issuer IBI Brasil Empreendimentos e Participações in the 6th issuance of non convertible debentures, in single series, in the total amount of BRL 180 million, for public offering, pursuant to CVM 160, as amended, and other applicable law and regulation.

All net funds raised by means of the offering of the debentures shall be used to pay the total amount of the 5th issuance of debentures issued by the company; and to improve the company’s working capital.

Debentures shall count on corporate guarantee by UPL Corporation Limited, which owns the control of the company.

Lefosse relied on partners Kenneth Ferreira; Bruno Massis and associate Raquel Aguiar.

Norton Rose Fulbright was also involved at this deal.
