Stocche Forbes hires former C6 for wealth and banking areas

Stocche Forbes has announced Carlos Scharfstein (pictured), a lawyer and specialist in tax law and banking regulation, as a new partner to expand its practice in these areas. With extensive experience in the subject, having been co-founder, legal director, Head of the Family Office of C6 Bank, Carlos will take over the Wealth Planning and Banking Regulation fronts of the firm, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to an increasingly strategic and excellent service.

Carlos holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, specialized in financial accounting from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a master’s degree (LL.M.) in International Tax Law from New York University, as well as authoring several articles on these subjects.

With Carlos’s entry, the firm reaches 39 partners specialized in all areas of business law, expanding its range of activities.
