Machado Meyer advises on Cosern debenture issue

Machado Meyer advised on the 11st issue of debentures of Companhia Energética do Rio Grande do Norte – Cosern. The issuance counted with the security by Neoenergia.

The issuer is responsible for more than 52 thousand kilometers of granted area, serves 167 municipalities and distributes energy to hundreds of people throughout Brazil. The funds raised through the Cosern will be used for the future payment or reimbursement of distribution capex expenses, expenditures or debts, as the case may be, related to the issuer’s investments.

The transaction value worth BRL 500 million.
