H&K advises Okila on sale to TRACSA

Holland & Knight Mexico has advised Okila on the sale of its capital stock to Grupo TRACSA, an authorised dealer of Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT).

This transaction was closed on 25 May. This acquisition marks Grupo TRACSA’s first entry into the welding sector.

Headquartered in Mexico City, Okila is a leading importer and wholesaler of products and accessories for the welding industry.

Grupo TRACSA, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, is a leading supplier of heavy equipment and machinery for construction, infrastructure, agriculture and mining.
