Álvarez assists in sale of Teknica and Enersafe to Legrand
Álvarez Abogados has assisted the shareholders of Servicios de Respaldo de Energía Teknica (Teknica) and Enersafe Chile, in the sale of 100% of both companies to the French industrial group Legrand, a company of products and systems for electrical installations and information networks.
This transaction was closed on 5 September and included the participation of Inversiones TEK, Desarrollo e Inversiones MPC, Asesorías Comerciales Pirque and Legrand Bticino Chile Limitada, the latter advised by Garrigues Chile.
The advice involved support in the shareholding structuring, preparation of the data room, as well as in the negotiation and drafting of the relevant documents for the transaction, including the Letter of Intent, Share Sale and Purchase Agreement, among others. The transaction was approved by the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office on 28 July 2023.
Teknica and Enersafe Chile are two companies that provide operational continuity solutions for critical processes, including development and installation of electrical rooms and datacenters, UPS & power quality solutions and services, among others.
