Muñiz strengthens its team of partners

Estudio Muñiz has announced the incorporation of Jorge Córdova Benavides as senior partner, as well as the promotion to partners of Oxal Víctor Ávalos Jara, Johana Calderón Valencia, Guillermo Gonzales Zevallos, Claudia Quispe Gonzales, Percy Eduardo Suazo Carmelo and Julissa Yamani Fernández.

Jorge Córdova (pictured top left) has participated in the development and execution of projects and operations of national and foreign companies with investments in Peru. He has extensive and recognised experience in regulatory and operational aspects of the national energy sector, as well as in obtaining governmental permits for various projects and in obtaining project financing through international multilateral banks. He holds a law degree from the University of Lima and a Master’s degree in Business Law from the same university. He previously worked at firms such as Osterling Abogados, Miranda & Amado and DLA Piper Peru.

The other partners will now lead the following areas: Oxal Víctor Ávalos (pictured top centre, left) and Guillermo Gonzales (pictured top right), Labour Law and Social Security; Johana Calderón (pictured top centre, right), Intellectual Property; Claudia Quispe (pictured bottom left) and Julissa Yamani Fernández (pictured bottom right), Litigation and Disputes; and Percy Eduardo Suazo (pictured bottom centre), Municipal Regulation and Authorisations.
