Dentons represents Sun Valley in acquisition of 22.5% of Mineros shares
Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas and Dentons Canada have represented Sun Valley Investments AG in the acquisition of 22.5% of the shares of Mineros from Grupo Colpatria, corresponding to 67,440,916 ordinary shares for a total consideration of CAD 56,380,604 million.
Sun Valley is a major international investor focused mainly on developing investments in the mining industry in the Americas, Europe and Asia. This acquisition represents a milestone that marks Sun Valley’s participation in the Colombian market and will contribute to the development and transformation of the mining sector in the country.
Mineros is an iconic company in the Colombian mining sector and is listed on both the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC) and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
