Hermano Villemor Amaral

Hermano de Villemor Amaral (son) dies

With heavy hearts, Villemor Amaral Advogados announced the death of Dr. Hermano de Villemor Amaral (son) (pictured), at the age of 104, in the early hours of Thursday morning (18/07), in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Father, grandfather, husband and exemplary lawyer, Dr. Villemor continued the work started by his father in 1909, practicing law for almost 80 years. He was the great reference point for his son, Hermano de Villemor Amaral (grandson), who today follows his legacy, being one of the managing partners of Villemor Amaral Advogados.

Within the firm, Dr. Villemor was seen as a professional who had a broad vision and was ahead of his time. Objects and protocols that today are seen as mundane and normal were, for him, a necessary and crucial advance for growth.

The eternal partner made history in our country’s legal profession and impacted the lives of hundreds of professionals with whom he was able to share his values, principles, knowledge and dedication, which helped shape the centenary firm that exists today.

The firm wishes its deepest sympathies to his family: his wife, Deolinda Costa Purificación, his daughter Maria Cecilia Combacau de Villemor Amaral Chauveau and her husband Jacques Alain Chauveau, his son Hermano de Villemor Amaral (grandson) and his wife Ana Paula Duffles Andrade, and his four grandchildren Phelippe de Villemor Amaral Chauveau, Hermano de Villemor Amaral, Renata Duffles Andrade Amorim and Roberta Duffles Andrade Amorim.
