Cleary on MercadoLibre credit facility amendment

Cleary Gottlieb has advised MercadoLibre on an amendment and restatement of its USD $400 million revolving credit facility secured by several MercadoLibre affiliates.

This transaction closed on 27 September. The proceeds from any drawdown of the facility will be used for general corporate purposes.

MercadoLibre is the leading e-commerce and financial services technology company in Latin America. It provides solutions that enable individuals and businesses to buy, sell, pay, advertise and ship products and services over the Internet.
