Two firms advise on Copel’s sale of 13 power plants to Electra

Rolim Goulart Cardoso advised the Electra Group, through its subsidiary Electra Hydra; Demarest advised Copel on the bidding process for the sale of 13 power plants (hydroelectric, thermoelectric and wind) to Electra Hydra Participações Societárias.

The transaction value BRL 450.5 million and totaling 118.7 MW of installed capacity.

The amount will be adjusted by the IPCA variation from March 31, 2025 until the closing date. The transaction also includes a debt of BRL21.4 million with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES).
