Two firms advise on the acquisition of ECB by Mota-Engil
Trench Rossi Watanabe and Freitas Ferraz advised on the transaction consisted in the acquisition, by potuguese group Mota-Engil, of additional shares of Empresa Construtora Brasil (ECB), a prominent and long-standing player in the construction and infrastructure sector.
This transaction marks the consolidation of Mota-Engil’s control over ECB, transitioning from shared control with Brazilian business partners to exclusive control.
This strategic move reinforces Mota-Engil’s position in the construction and infrastructure market, aligning with its broader objectives of international market expansion and strengthening its presence in Brazil, a key market within its global portfolio.
