Mattos Filho and Landi Rodrigues advise on Kinea infra fund IPO
Mattos Filho and Landi Rodrigues Advogados acted on the IPO of shares from a new infra-structure fund managed by Kinea Private Equity Investimentos and Kinea Investimentos and coordinated by Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira as the sole bookrunner of the public offering, pursuant to CVM Resolution 160.
Called Kinea Equity Infra I Co-Invest I Fundo de Investimento em Participações Responsabilidade Limitada, the fund aims to invest in assets issued by publicly or privately-held companies operating in the infrastructure sector, under the terms of Brazilian legislation, in order to develop infrastructure projects in the highway, logistics and transportation segments in Brazil, which will be implemented through special purpose companies whose direct or indirect partners are the shareholders of the Way Brasil Group.
The 1st issuance successfully raised BRL 251,500,000.00 and was closed in June 2025.
Mattos Filho advised the fund and Kinea, and relied on partner Flávio Barbosa Lugão (pictured left), associates Pedro Aurélio de Pessôa Filho and Marcos Paula de Oliveira Junior.
Landi Rodrigues advised IBBA and relied on partner Ronaldo Bassitt Giovannetti (pictured right), associates Rafael Maluly Bombini and Adriano Venâncio Cavalcanti.
