Lefosse and Mattos Filho act on the sale of Vectis to Patria
Lefosse advised the partners of Vectis Gestão, an asset manager focused on the real estate and agribusiness sectors, on the sale of the entire equity interest of the asset manager (after an agreed-upon carve-out of certain activities) to Patria Investimentos, which was advised by Mattos Filho.
With this transaction, Patria expands its portfolio with two new real estate funds: Vectis Juros Real (VCJR11), a BRL 1.4 billion fund focused on real estate-backed securities, and Vectis Renda Residencial (VCRR11), focused on income-generating residential properties. The transaction, which adds BRL 1.6 billion in assets under management, significantly boosts Patria’s presence in the real estate credit fund market.
The closing of the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of conditions precedent typical for deals of this nature.
Lefosse relied on partners Rodrigo Cunha; André Mileski; Dante Zanotti (pictured top from left to right); associates Douglas Fukuhara, Ariela Sznirer, Felipe Madruga, Barbara Navega and Guilherme Almeida.
